My Other Creations: Yarn Holder Houses Using Dina Wakley Stamps

http://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/mondaychallenge/
The fam and I made a snowman this weekend and there was plenty of snow left over!  I love the change in seasons, but with all these mountains of white, I look even harder for some pops of color here and there.  That's why I made some sunshiny-bright yarn holders for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge theme of Sunshine.

Anything bright and funky reminds me of Dina Wakley, so I used several of her fine stamps on these houses.  And these houses were inspired by a previous project I did where I made house embroidery-floss holders, which you can see here.

On the first one, I used her Collaged Hearts stamp set:

This second one uses one of my favorite images from the Scribbly Women set:

Last but not least, the third house uses a bird from the super-cute Scribbly Holiday Birdies set:

Are these house holders enough to hold my hoarder-level yarn collection?  No, but these are some of my favorite yarns that I wanted to have displayed a little more prominently.  And you know I love a good house shape!

Here are the products I used on this project that you can find at Simon Says Stamp:

Can't wait to see how you interpret our sunshine theme this week.  And if you have some Dina Wakley products, throw them in the mix!  Upload your creation to the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog for your chance to win a $50 voucher to the Simon Says Stamp store!
